The First Voyage Around The World by Antonio Pigafetta

was written on board by one of the five ships that was first
to circumnavigate the world during an expedition that was
led by the Portuguese explorer, Ferdinand Magellan and
after his death during the voyage, by Juan Sebastian
Elcano.

FATE: Wrecked in storm at Santa
Cruz River, on 3 May 1520

FATE: Deserted in the Strait of
Magellan, November 1520, AND
returned to Spain on 6 May 1521

FATE: Departed Seville with other four
ships 10 August 1519. Broke down in
Moluccas, December 1521serted in the
