what is this book about?

The novel features a series

of short stories loosely
connected to summer
occurrences, with Douglas
and his family as recurring
characters.
In the story,
dandelion wine, as
made by the
protagonist's
grandfather, serves
as a metaphor for
packing all of the
joys of summer
into a single
bottle.
Quotes that I
liked
• «No matter how hard you try to be what
you once were, you can only be what you
are here and now»
• «Be what you are, bury what you are not»
• «...one man’s junk is another man’s
luxury»
• «In the morning, she said to it, "I will do
something final about this, and settle
down to being only me, and nobody else
from any other year. Yes, that's what I'll
do»
CONCLUSION
the book is joyful, sunny and, at the same time, very sad.
Boys discover so many different things for themselves. And
I am with them. After reading this story, everyone will think
about something. Everyone will remember their childhood
and remember that it has passed, but this doesn`t mean that
we can no longer make any discoveries for ourselves.

Why did I choose "Dualingo"?

Dualingo for me was the

most familiar platform on
which I studied before
pluses of the platform:

• there is a moment of competition

• stories written with humor
• convenience and usability of the
platform
• notifications that remind you to
take a lesson
cons of the
platform:
• I lacked written assignments
• few tasks for listening to audio
• no feedback
• sometimes there was not enough
information on topics
