Tighina Fortess

The Republic of Moldova has a lot of places worth visiting. Tighina

Fortress is one of attractions that is situated in Transnistria region. It is
very popular noy only because of its historycal value, but for the beauty
of the landscape too. The nistru river, that flows close to the fortress,
makes the view very attractive.
 The fortress iself is a real military heritage of the country, a true evidence
of glorious time of the Otoman Empire, as it was built in 1538. In 1540 it
was conquered by the Moldovan army. It survived numerous battles,
important for the military history of the country. Nowdays Tughina Fortress
represents Moldova in the book of 100 most beautiful and amazing places
of the USSR. Thuss, the fortress rvrn today keeps attracting peoplethat are
fond of history and the culture
