Introduction
Tesla, Inc. is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company based
in Palo Alto, California. Tesla's current products include electric cars,
battery energy storage from home to grid scale, solar panels and solar roof
tiles, as well as other related products and services. But we will solely focus on
their electric cars which has self driving ability which solely relies on ai and
machine learning. This is also refered to tesla’s autopilot. This feature alone
affects the sales of tesla cars as it raises concerns about the realiability
Problems with tesla’s self driving cars

• 1. the autonomous driving feature is not always accurate.

• 2. it has a tendency to crash the vehicle compromising the driver’s
and passenger’s safety
• 3. the autonomy algorithm is not accurate most of the time
• 4. The neural network miscalculate and causes the car to crash
Solution

• 1. They need to Apply cutting-edge research to train deep neural

networks on problems ranging from perception to control.
• 2. They need to incorporate ai in a way that learns every
particular driver’s driving style and routes to make the journey
even safer
• 3. Tesla needs to invest more in developing an ai that can process
more calculations per second to predict traffics in roads faster and
take actions.
