Definition
Hemorrhoid is an inflammatory condition and the dilation
of veins around the anus that comes from the hemorrhoidal
plexus

Normal tissue found in everyone, consisting of the arterial-


venous plexus, functions as a valve in the anal canal to help
the anal sphincter system, preventing flatus and fluid
incontinence
Epidemiology
The data shows that ten million people in Indonesia are
reported to be suffering hemorrhoids 50% 50%
The incidence of hemorrhoids tends to increase as a person gets
older, where the peak age is 45-65 years
