• Well, badly, and far have irregular forms: better, best, worse, worst and
farther/farthest or further/furthest.
I find these pills work best.
My tooth was aching worse than ever.
How much farther/further is it?

• Adverb with –ly have more/most.


You can drive more accurately than that.

• Some adverbs have alternative forms, e.g. cheap/cheaply. There is also a


choice of comparative/ superlative forms.
You can buy them cheaper/more cheaply on the internet.
