Intensifying Vigilance to Volunteerism: Program for Intensifying DILG-BLGS, October 2010 –

1.CSO Mapping / Profiling
•Mapped a total of 3,640 CSOs both formal and informal
except Region VII and ARMM, and mapped according to
service areas; To complete the mapping this year to cover
two said regions, and
•CSO Map published in the LGA website.
2. Local Special Bodies (LSB) Strengthening
•2 regions (Regions V and XIII) provided with training of
trainers (ToT) on LSB Strengthening.
3. Volunteer Program
•Draft policy for volunteer program developed;
•Volunteer Management Service training pilot-tested to
Nueva Ecija , and
•Volunteer program framework developed.
