• What: The Safe (student and family engagement) Center helps

Banneker students be successful in school, both socially and
academically.

• Where: Located in Banneker High School

• When: Opened in 2017

• Why: The Safe Center was created to provide resources to

Banneker students and members of the Banneker community

 Could have a database telling the number of

people using the safe center at certain times of the day

 For the grant need for the safe center the best

way would be from the school or from a
fundraiser activity started by the safe center

 Online orders for those who can’t come to the

school for food

 (NO INTERNET) could tie this in with the food busses

and have them take data for how many people come
for food
