nationally, internationally and locally. Sport
organizations around the world have been
forced in recent weeks to face the fact that
the Covid-19 corona virus is likely to have a
serious impact on the industry – not just in
the short term but also in the long term.
 The rapid spread of the corona virus is causing cancellations and
postponements of sporting events and affecting sports around the
globe

while the Indian Premier League has been postponed until 15th
April. The Pakistan Super League is continuing to be played,
but the format has been shortened by four days. The final will
take place on 18th March.

The coronavirus outbreak has already impacted many sporting

events across the world. IPL (Indian Premier League)
postponement to cost BCCI 400 million rupees. Cricket Australia
(CA) stands to lose some $300 Million. PCB set to suffer massive
financial losses.

International cricket players will play more matches, will tour more
next year to cover the loss. BCCI may reschedule for IPL (Indian
Premier League). BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) can arrange
more tour. Players can donate to the board for cover losses.
