HOW TO RUN

FOR
PRESIDENT
H O W D O I PAY F O R I T ?

• Usually you pay for it through companies, investors, parties,


and followers
• THIS IS NOT NEEDED (YOU WILL ALL HAVE THE SAME
AMOUNT OF “PAY”)
WHO WILL I RUN AS?

• You will run as a selected candidate given to you (like usual, it


is completely random)
• You will act like them and your debates will be based on their
beliefs
• Your debates will be based on a certain topic but will be
cumulative (remember who you are!!!)
• If you “fail”, you will endorse a candidate
WHO WILL I RUN AS?

• “Failing” does not mean you are finished debating


• Failing means you have joined that group
• “Failing” is based off bad performances at Primaries (debates)
where your percentage of the vote would have gone down
• The Primary will include both Republican and Democrat
Candidates

HOW DO I WIN?

• Outdebate your classmates


• Know which candidates to attack and lay off at different times
• Know how to get your classmates to endorse you
• Know how to use your new group members wisely
ELECTION

• Once there are two members left, it moves to an election


• One member will be the “speaker”
• All members are expected to be part of the group (I can see you Google Docs edits!!!)
• President is elected based off how well you do become that nominee and knowing
their politics
H O W T O W I N S TAT E S

• Certain states will be up for grabs on each debate


• Each state is weighted differently (be aware of this!!!)
• Know each state’s stance on certain things as well/ you may want to know how to get
their vote
• Approximately one nominee will be eliminated each round
