HOMONYMS

Homonyms – are words identical with another in pronunciation, but


differing in spelling and meaning.

Example:
Bough - bow
(main branch – knot tie)

Read – reed
(to decode for meaning – kind of plant)

Weather –whether
(state of the atmosphere -  introduce one alternative)

Bear – bare
(animal - not clothed or covered)
ACTIVITY:

Compose a poem with homonyms.
