PART 1: NEIGHBOUR

1. Are there many people living near you?

Well, I live in a block of building with many
neighbors. Whenever I meet them, I say hello to
them/ greet them and talk for a while.
2. Do you know all your neighbors?
Well, honestly, not much. I’m not kinda gossipy
and like to put my nose on others’ business. In fact,
I don’t care much about others’ privacy.
Well, yes, exploring others’ private life is funny and
interesting. I always prove to be a useful person in
the community.
3. Do you think it’s important for a person to
have a good relationship with their neighbors?
Well, I think having good relationships with
neighbors leads to a more comfortable life. Besides,
we have someone to share all sorrow and mirth in
daily life.
4. What kind of people are your neighbors?
Well, most of my neighbors are generous and kind-
hearted. However, there are some others gossipy
and like to put their nose on others’ business.
5. What sorts of problems can people have with
their neighbors?
Well, neighbors living together tend to have
arguments over daily routines, such as: noise, pets
and children. However, all these problems can
easily be forgiven if they are tolerant to each other.
6. On what occasions do neighbors help each
other?
Well, neighbors often help each other when there
are some anniversaries such as wedding and
funeral. Besides, there are some other emergencies
such as fire or children’s sickness.
7. Do you prefer to live with young or old people?
Well, personally, I’m more keen on living with
youngsters as they are easier, and more liberal. On
the contrary, elder people tend to be wordy and
talkative.
