 Theoil spill is one of the most important factors of
environmental pollution, often occurring due to
accidents, when people make mistakes or
equipment decompose which includes natural
disasters or deliberate acts. Oil spills have
significant environmental and economic effects
 People who clean up spills are at increased
risk. Problems can include skin and eye
irritation, neurological and respiratory
problems, and stress. Not much is known
about he long-term effects of these strokes.
 Most of the oil disasters happen in the sea,
especially near the coasts where the
ecosystems are more diverse and full of
thousands of different species.
 Fish can incorporate persistent organic pollutants
and the predators that consume them transmit oil
poisoning from one animal to another through the
food chain, putting even food safety at risk.
 Birds are the most vulnerable species, because
they can not fly, they stay on the beach so they do
not hurt even more and end up dying of cold or
hunger.
