Responsibility
The Master has overall responsibility to oversee the
passage planning.

The actual plan should be constructed by the 2nd Officer.

All Officers involved in the navigation of the vessel must


read and sign the plan.

It is the responsibility of all deck officers to contribute


their own information to the plan.
