What is supertitions ?
 A supertition is a belief that a particular thing,
event or circumstance holds some kind of
significance that something going to happen(bad or
good)even though it is not based on knowledge or
reason. This belief can be based on fear, ignorance ,
trust in magic,coincidence or a prior experience
with a similar situation

Supertition in India
Common examples of superstitious
beliefs in India include: a black
cat crossing the road symbolizes
bad luck, a crow cawing
indicates that guests are arriving,
drinking milk after eating fish
causes skin diseases, seeing a
mongoose symbolizes to be very
lucky, and itchy palms mean that
money is coming your way.
Supertition in Japan
“If you lie down right after a
meal, you’ll turn into a
cow!” While this superstition
is obviously not true, it is
still a phrase jokingly spoken
to children after a meal to
children. It is believed that
this phrase mainly exists to
discourage laziness from a
young age.

countryside. Here below are represented the most widespread
superstitions that Georgian people are believing in, these are:
 If your nose is itching, someone will soon visit you

 When your cheeks and ears turn red, somebody is speaking about

you at that moment


 If a person who is sweeping the floor (by accident) touches your

feet with the broom, you will not marry. When it happens to you,
you can “undo” it by biting at the end of the broomstick
 Don’t pass soap from hand to hand, it means you will hate this

person.
Conclusion
 Supertitions is irrational state of mind
which is illogical state we should be
reasonable and rational mind to
overcome upon it.
 Educaion in one factor that can wipe

put supertitions to some extent.
