Oxygen

Chemistry
 Most of the atoms in the atmosphere are positively ch
arged, so they easily react with oxygen to become oxi
des and tend to be stable.
Gibbs Free Energy

 Gibbs Free Energy is a thermodynamic potential that c

an be used to calculate the maximum of reversible wo
rk that may be performed by a thermodynamic syste
m at a constant temperature and pressure.

 This constant can reflect the trend of a thermal syste

m. The larger the value, the easier it is to spontaneous
ly react.
standard molar Gibbs free energy

 Since thermodynamics cannot define the absolute val

ue of Gibbs energy, so in practical applications, it can
be used to calculate as the standard molar Gibbs free
energy.

 standard molar Gibbs free energy can be regarded as

the stability of a substance. The lower the value, the
more stable it is.
Activation energy

 Activation energy refers to the energy required to start

a chemical reaction.

 In this chart we can clearly understand that both endothermic

and exothermic reactions require activation energy to initiate t
he reaction.
Free Radical
 When atoms in the atmosphere are exposed to radiati
on, causing covalent bonds Homolysis.

 Two electrons are evenly distributed on two bonding

atoms, resulting in two free radicals.

 This type of atom has a fairly high degree of instability

and is easily reactive with other atoms.
(we also call it a high oxidizing property)
photochemical smog

 The origin of photochemical smog is the NOX exhaust

gas of industrial or cars.

 After being excited by radiation, it produces strong fr

ee radical atoms such as O3.

 And then ,it has a series of reactions with other subst

ances, causing considerable pollution.
summary

 The development of industry and the use of cars cann

ot be changed in a short period of time.

 But the increasing damage has reached the level that

affects our health and even affects other countries.
