INDEFINITE PRONOUNS
The indefinite pronouns are those that are used to refer to people, things and
places, without saying exactly what person, thing or place.
SOME – AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCE
• Someone / Somebody  was
calling me last night.

• I saw something on the floor


yesterday but I didn´t know it was
yours

• Your glasses must be somewhere


in your bedroom
ANY – NEGATIVE / INTERROGATIVE
SENTENCE
• Ididn´t see anybody • Did you find anything there?

• Did you see anybody? • John wasn´t anywhere

• I couldn´t find anything there


EVERY – AFIRMATIVE SENTENCE
• Everybody said so.

• He knew everything but I hadn´t told him

• I looked for my dog everywhere


NO – AFIRMATIVE SENTENCE
• Nobody told me

• Nothing affects me

• No one is sleeping in my bed.

• There is nowhere as beautiful as Paris.
