Rural Agriculture Work Experience
(RAWE)
 Objectives :-
– The RAWE activity is for the final year B.Sc. Agri. students during last semester.
– To bring changes in the knowledge ,skill and attitude of the people engaged in farming , a sustained effort is a need of time
and thus could be achieved only through purposeful education. Rural agricultural work experience(RAWE) programme is
the key component .
– This helps the students Building self-confidence by interaction with villagers.
– Students do door-to-door activities.
– Students do interactions with the farmers and the other rural peoples and they know about their skills, problems, and
other on going activities.
– The students have to submit a report based on the experience they gained during their RAWE programme.

We started our rawa training programme from 17 February


2021. We are six students in the group. We started this
training under guidance of our staff members. These are
our group members.

Suggestions for farmers…
– Grow Resistant or recommended varieties
– Follow crop rotation
– Suggest the farmer not to burn paddy straw
– Less/adequate use of Fertilizers
– Told the villagers to do other occupations with
their main works i.e. livestock, poultry,
apiculture, olericulture
– Introduce farmers club in the village.

and livelihood.
