INTRODUCTION
Firstly Navigation is the art and science of determining the
position of a ship, plane or other vehicle, and guiding it to
a specific destination. Navigation requires a person to
know the vehicle's relative location, or position compared
to other known locations.

Now navigation has so many
modern equipment that makes
it safer, such as: radar, ecdis,
VHF, ARPA, naftev, GPS.

Navigation has not always been so
evolved in the past it used ancient
equipment such as gyrocompass,
magnetic compass, nautical charts,
the sextant, the stars and the
abundant knowledge of seafarers
made navigation safe.
