DEFINITION OF HOSPITALIZATION
(DEFINISI RAWAT INAP)

Inpatient is an individual health service, which includes

observation, diagnosis, treatment, nursing, medical
rehabilitation, by staying in the inpatient room at a hospital
health facility where for medical reasons the patient must
stay overnight.
 INPATIENT FLOW
(ALUR PASIEN RAWAT INAP)

• The patient brings a cover letter from the outpatient clinic /

emergency department / delivery room to inpatient
registration.
• The patient books the treatment room according to the type of
payment (if the patient Health insurance will be checked with
the appropriate service and treatment room with the patient
ceiling) and do inpatient registration registration.
• The clerk contacted the treatment room to meme a room and
convey the things needed in patient based care notes in the
cover letter of care.
 INPATIENT FLOW

• The patient is given a general explanation / general agreement

and affixes name, signature on the form
• The patient returns to the clinic / emergency room to be put on
an IV and given a patient bracelet Then the nurse contacted the
treatment room before taking the patient to the treatment
room. The nurse will hand over the patient and medical
records and other supporting documents for follow-up patient
care.
• Patients who enter the treatment room are accepted by the
room doctor / nurse.
