Composition:
Each mL contains:
Fluorometholone U.S.P………………..1mg
With: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.004%, Polyvinyl
alcohol,sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, edetate
disodium,and purified water.
Ophthalmic Ointment:
Fluorometholone U.S.P………………..1 mg
With: Mineral oil and white petroleum.

Clinical Pharmacology:
Fluorometholone inhibits phospholipase A2 first stage of prostaglandin synthesis
for causing inflammation. Unlike glucocorticoids fluorometholone does not increase
intra ocular pressure.

INDICATION:
It is indicated in corticosteroid responsive inflammation of
bulbar, Palpebral conjunctive, cornea and anterior segment.
Contraindication:
Known hypersensitivity to The component of medication.
Mycobacterial infection, Viral diseases of cornea and
conjunctiva.
Pregnancy:
Safety and effectiveness had not been established.
Nursing Mothers:
Safety and effectiveness had not been established.

Dosage:
1-2 drops in conjunctival sac(s) every four hour.
During the initial 24-48 hours dose may be increased up to 1-2 drops 2 hourly.
Ophthalmic Ointment: Apply small amount of ointment in conjunctival sac(s)
every 6-8 hour.
