THE CUSTOMS IN PERU …..

If you are visiting someone’s home, you have to let them know you are
coming by calling or texting, so that they will receive you, as sometimes no
one may be home.

If you are visiting a close friend, you can go to their house as a surprise.
But always ring the doorbell or knock on the door as a sign of respect.

If you are visiting someone's home, it is usually after lunchtime, and you do
not stay until dinner, unless you are invited to stay.
