Water Cycle

Water cycle describes how water

evaporates from the surface
of the earth, rises into the
atmosphere, cools and
condenses into rain, sleet,
snow, and hail in clouds and
falls again to the surface as
precipitation.
Processes Involve in Water Cycle

1. Evaporation is the process by which water changes

from a liquid to a gas or vapor.

2. Condensation is the process by which water vapor

in the air is changed into liquid to form clouds.

3. Precipitation is any liquid or frozen water that

forms in the atmosphere and falls to the earth.

4. Collection this is when the water that falls from the

clouds as rain, sleet, hail and snow are collected in
the oceans, seas, rivers and other bodies of water.
Generalization:

1. What is water cycle?

2. What are the processes involved in the

water cycle?

3. Define each process.

4. What is the role of the sun that makes

water cycle possible?
