AREA OF APPLICATION: Esophagus, stomach, and


upper duodenum.

CONTRAST: Done without contrast.


LOWER ENDOSCOPY

SYNONYM/ACRONYM: Full colonoscopy, lower


panendoscopy.

COMMON USE: To visualize and assess the lower colon


for tumor, cancer, and infection.

AREA OF APPLICATION: Colon.

CONTRAST: Air.
