IF CLAUSE + SUGGESTION

If + Simple present , why don't + S + V1 ?

ex : If you want to get up early in the morning, why don't you stop watching TV?

If you need help, why don't you call me ?

If + SImple present, S + Should/had better/ough to + V1

ex : If you see your teacher, you should greet them well.

If you find my lost book, you should bring it back to me.

IF CLAUSE + IMPERATIVE

If + Simple present, V1 + O

ex :
If someone calls, take a message please.
If water boils, put it down
If you finishesrepairing my bicycle, wash your hands.

ex :

If you don't want to come late, you have to turn your alarm on.
