Which things sink on water?
Why do some objects float in water?

they are lighter and will float on water.
Why do some objects sink in water?
When particles are closely arranged in
objects, they are denser, so they sink in
water.

the object is non-porous, such objects cannot
absorb water.
How does oil behave when put in water?
Does it sink or float? Why?
