IRREGULAR VERBS

SIMPLE PAST
WHAT’S AN IRREGULAR VERB?

▹ It’s a verb that doesn’t follow the regular pattern (-

ed).

▹ When we conjugate a verb in past we usually add –d

-ed. In the case of irregular verbs, there’s no specific
rule to conjugate them, so we must memorize them.
