Concerns of Handy on Outsourcing ●Engagement in outsourcing may lead to hollow organizations. Virtual Organizations ● Charles Handy describes a virtual organisation as a collection of individuals who can work away from the physical office walls. ● In addition to the technological implications associated with running of virtual organizations, Handy emphasized on the importance of the managerial implications and the need to incorporate trust by top management, veering off from the conventional managerial practices of control and efficiency. Shamrock Organisations According to Handy (2015):-

are highly trained professionals. ● Contract - Individuals or other organizations providing the primary organization with services that involve contract and project completion. ● Peripheral - Flexible labor force consisting of parttime and intermittent workers that need to be close to the organization to feel a sense of commitment in order for their work to be carried out to a high standard.
