1) Con verbos modales. Ej: I can play football / He might be home

2) Con el verbo let. Ej: Let me go

3) Con el verbo make Ej: He made me laugh

4) Con el verbo help Ej: He helped me carry the bags

5) Con el verbo would rather. Para expresar que se prefiere una cosa a otra utilizamos than".
Ej: I would rather go to the cinema than stay at home

- En forma abreviada: I'd rather go to the cinema than stay at home


- En negativa: I would rather not go out tonight

- Cuando implicamos a otra persona seguiríamos la siguiente estructura:

Sujeto 1 + would rather + sujeto 2 + verbo en pasado (se traduce por un subjuntivo)

I would rather you didn't smoke in here
