Issues Faced

• Our Purlins we misaligned and holes were not made accurately

• Site engineer doesn’t have practical knowledge on installation since site
technicians always complete the tasks by their own
• Inefficient chain of command due to lack of knowledge.
• Parallel work flow has not been ensured. Time waste. No proper guideline
• Cutting and wielding on the site costs company time and money. Doing
any task on the site is costly, it has to be reduced.
• Panel screw (nut bolt) were not given with the inventory, but apparently
we decided to install the panels right after the second day. This has been
discovered on Day 6. Mismanagement and improper communication.
Why We’ve Developed This SOP
• To reduce phone calls
• Everybody knows exactly what to do & when to do
• Knowledge is available to all, not only to seniors
• Standard will be maintained throughout the organization
• Have to make people liable about the tasks that they are doing. SOP
will create Job Description as well
