The problem of young drivers being involved in more traffic accidents than older drivers can
no longer be ignored. Unfortunately, this phenomenon has become an integral part of our
society.

There are several causes of this problem. First, not only do young people have a tendency to
take risks, but they also lack the experience needed to recognize dangerous situations on the
road. Moreover, young adults tend to get distracted more easily than older drivers, which
usually includes texting while driving.

There are some possible solutions to this problem. First of all, the police should start enforcing
the law against texting and driving by giving heavy fines. Secondly, young drivers should take
a correctional driving course once a year. In addition, the government should consider raising
the driving age.

It seems that there is no ideal solution to this problem. Yet we have to make great efforts to
minimize it.
