How will you create your own logo?

1. Start without a computer.

- think of the best ideas and/or message you want to convey to the
costumer.
- start making scribbles about those ideas.
- make a lot of sketches as possible and then select the best.
2. Start designing in Black and White
- it is easier to change black and white logos into colors
- some companies needs black and white version of the logo for fax and
copying machine
3. K.I.S.S. ( Keep It Short and Simple)
-simplicity is what catches the eye.
- it becomes easier to familiarize
- 80% of the famous logos uses only 2 to 3 colors
4. Use appropriate colors, fonts and schemes.
• -Serif fonts tend to be traditional: you'd use a serif font for a lawyer or a
doctor, for instance.
• Sans serif fonts tend to be modern: computer and tech companies often
use sans serif fonts.
• Handwriting fonts tend to be used for companies that cater to kids, such
as daycare or children's software. Script fonts can be viewed as feminine,
and sometimes traditional, too
Colors:

• Blue: trust, loyalty, water, relaxing, power, dignity

• Yellow: energy, joy, light, hope
• Pink: calming, feminine
• Green: life, growth, money, jealousy, nature, fertility
• Purple: richness, power, love, sophistication
• Brown: credibility, stability
• White: purity, cleanliness, innocence
• Red: heat, passion, danger, power
Shapes:
• Circle: connection, community, movement, safety
• Rectangle: solid, security
• Triangle: exciting, powerful, aggression
