ALBERT EINSTEIN

CHILDHOOD
 He was born in the German city of Ulm, a
hundred kilometers east of Stuttgart, in a
Jewish family. His parents were Hermann
Einstein and Pauline Koch.
 He has born in 14th March 1879
 In 1880 the family moved to Munich.
 Since its inception, he demonstrated some

difficulty expressing himself, for there he


began to speak until the age of three years.

YOUTH
 The family tried to enroll Albert Einstein at ETH
Zurich but, not having a bachelor's degree, he
had to attend an entrance examination
suspended because of a poor grade in a subject
of letters.

 During his years in the politically vibrant Zurich,


he discovered the work of several philosophers
Henri Poincare, Baruch Spinoza, David Hume,
Immanuel Kant, Karl Marx and Ernst Mach.

 In 1908, at the age of 29, he was hired at the
University of Bern, Switzerland, as a teacher
and lecturer.
 In 1913, just before the First World War, he

was elected to the Prussian Academy of


Sciences.
 On February 14, 1919, at age 39, Mileva

divorced after a marriage of 16 years.

DEATH
 On April 16, 1955, Albert Einstein experienced
internal bleeding caused by the rupture of an
aneurysm of the abdominal aorta, which had
previously been reinforced surgically by Dr. Rudolph
Nissen in 1948. Einstein refused surgery, saying, "I
want to go When I Want. It is tasteless to prolong
life artificially. I've done my part, it's time to go. I
will do it with elegance. " He died in Princeton
Hospital early on 18 April 1955 at the age of 76
years. On the table was the draft speech to millions
of Israelis for the seventh anniversary of Israel's
independence would never come to utter, and
began: "Today I speak to you not as an American
citizen, nor as a Jew, but as being human".
