COMPARING

NUMBERS
 By comparing numbers you can tell if a
number is equal to, greater than or less
than another number. The symbols are:
EQUAL TO (=)
LESS THAN (<)
GREATER THAN (>)
STEPS:
Step 1: Line up the numbers by place
value.
Step 2: Start with the highest place-
value position. Compare the numbers.
EXAMPLE:
