• Avoid shopping on unreliable shopping websites.
• Avoid opening spam emails.
• Avoid clicking on links sent by unknown senders.
• Avoid downloading attachments sent from unknown source.
• Strong passwords.

• Use VPN when using unreliable connection.
• Avoid revealing personal information on social media.
• Avoid storing sensitive information in a cloud storage.
• Use password protected wireless internet.
• Assign privileges to users only as much as needed.
• Don’t practice “Default password settings”.
• Regular backups.
• Security awareness programs.

• Protection from Malware
• Anti-malware tools
 Tools that detect and remove malware.

• Use Firewall
 A software that helps block malicious activities.

• OS Updates
 To ensure you are using a more secure operating system.

• Prevent Malware
 Avoid any activity that may let malware in, e.g. opening spam email, connecting infected USB drive etc.

• Backup
 Helps recover to older state in case your computer is infected.
