What is Meditation
• a shift of awareness from “OUTSIDE TO
INSIDE”
• Meditation in regular daily life..focus on the
OUTSIDE

Its TIME to EXPERIENCE the Real JOY


Benefits
• Experience of positive STATE

– CALM, PEACEFUL N FULL OF JOY


– More and more YOUNG people are now joining
alternate therapies and meditation a source for
Joy
– That means LESS Anxiety, Anger and other
negative feeling
– HEALTH (physical, mental, emotional & spiritual)
Questions ??
• Pre-reqeuisite – NO, anybody can do it
• Anytime anywhere PRACTICE (scriptures say
‘brahma-mahurat’ early)
– When ever you have time, that is the BEST TIME
• Where to FOCUS – Breath /any Spiritual Mantra/
soothing music
• What ASANA - Any ASAN in which YOU are
comfortable n can sit for at least 15-20mins
• Clothes – comfortable clothing
MIND’s role n concept
• It’s a NATURE of MIND to ‘Think’
• Can we make the MIND to stop ? NO
• However CONTINUES practice of Meditation,
we began to identify not with our MIND but
our SOUL-Atman
• Meditation puts the MIND at EASE..
How can I MEDITATE??
• WANT – Iccha, you will n want to do it
• ASAN
• IT HAPPENS – we don’t have to make it
happen
• Meditation is a PROCESS..keep coming back to
it.
