• Teamwork can be defined as the skill to work
with a team of people collaboratively for
achieving a particular goal.
• It plays an important part in the success of a
business because it is important for colleagues
to work in a team and try their best in all the
conditions.
What is Teamwork?
Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a group to
achieve a common goal or to complete a task in the
most effective and efficient way.
This concept is seen within the greater framework
of a team, which is a group of interdependent
individuals who work together towards a common
goal.

creativity and innovation.
• However, if teams are assigned to inappropriate tasks, are
managed ineffectively or not provided with adequate support,
resources and autonomy to carry out their tasks then the effect
of teamwork can be counterproductive.
