 Deuteronomy 5:33 NIV

Walk in obedience to all that the

Lord your God has commanded you,
so that you may live and prosper and
prolong your days in the land that
you will possess.

obedient, you can walk
with God.

ENOCH
 Genesis 5:22-24 NIV

After he became the father of Methuselah,

Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years
and had other sons and daughters. [23]
Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years.
[24] Enoch walked faithfully with God; then
he was no more, because God took him away.

NOAH
 Genesis 6:6-8 NIV
The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on
the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. [7] So the
Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the
human race I have created---and with them the animals,
the birds and the creatures that move along the
ground---for I regret that I have made them. ” [8] But
Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

ADAM
 2. When you are
obedient, you can obey
God’s voice.
 Deuteronomy 4:5-6
“Look, I now teach you these decrees and
regulations just as the Lord my God commanded
me, so that you may obey them in the land you are
about to enter and occupy. Obey them completely,
and you will display your wisdom and intelligence
among the surrounding nations.”
 3. When you are
obedient, you will be
blessed.
 Joshua 1:8
“Study this Book of Instruction continually.
Meditate on it day and night so you will be
sure to obey everything written in it. Only
then will you prosper and succeed in all you
do.”
 Isaiah 1:19

“If you will only obey me, you

will have plenty to eat.”
 John 14:21
“Those who accept my commandments
and obey them are the ones who love me.
And because they love me, my Father
will love them. And I will love them and
reveal myself to each of them.”
 4. When you are
obedient, you’re
choosing God’s best.
5. When you are obedient,
you’re trusting God
to be God.
