Co-worker Chemistry between Student and Facility Of
MNS UET
1:What is a Co-worker?:

• A person with whom one works, typically someone in a similar role

or at a similar level within an organization.
• A coworker is someone who works closely with you, typically in
the same department or on the same team. A coworker may differ
from a colleague, who can work in the same industry as you but
not necessarily in the same workplace.
• A common synonym for coworker is colleague.
2:What is a FACULTY?:

A place, amenity, or piece of

equipment provided for a particular
purpose.
Facilities are buildings, pieces of
equipment, or services that are
provided for a particular purpose.
Hotels may charge for the use of
leisure facilities such as swimming pools
and gyms.
Types of Faculty:

• Overview.
• Office Buildings.
• Hospitals.
• Hotels.
• Restaurants.
• Educational.
• Industrial.
3: Co-worker Relationship:

• Peer coworker relationships refer to relationships between

employees at the same hierarchical level who have no formal
authority over one another. The term coworker can refer to
any individual with whom one works (including supervisors and
subordinate employees).
• The relationship between people who interact because of
their work; (also) a level of cooperation sufficient to
allow work to be done, progress to be made, etc.; a
functional or effective relationship.
4: Effect of Co-worker Relationship

• If an employee feels emotionally or socially detached at work and cannot

seem to fit into the organization's culture or blend with other
colleagues, feelings of dissatisfaction may start to surface. She may
prefer to find a different job than try to approach the issue directly.
• Workplace relationships and interaction have an impact on employee
satisfaction and retention. Negative attitudes can lead to isolation and
loneliness, which may instigate an employee's desire to resign. Be
cognizant of your employees' moods and, without intruding in their
personal lives, ask if there is anything you can do from an
employer/employee standpoint
Effect of Co-worker Relationship:
5: Student-Teacher Relationship:

• The relationship between student and teacher plays a large role in the
trajectory of a child’s academic success and social development.
Establishing a positive relationship with their teacher helps a student
feel more comfortable and safe in their classroom environments.
• The student/teacher relationship is a cornerstone in a student’s social
maturation process. Cultivating a positive rapport with a non-parental
authority figure allows students to define themselves, adapt to their
environment and grow their emotional and social intelligence.
Student-Teacher Relationship:
6:Organizational Commitment:

• Organizational commitment is defined as “a

psychological state that characterizes the employee's
relationship with the organization, and has
implications for the decision to continue or discontinue
membership in the organization”.
7:Co-worker Commitment:

• Commitment to work or work commitment is defined as the level of

enthusiasm an employee has towards his/her tasks assigned at a
workplace. It is the feeling of responsibility that a person has
towards the goals, mission, and vision of the organization he/she is
associated with.
• When you're committed to a job, it means fully completing all tasks
on time. ... Whether that involves taking classes to
enhance your skill level, taking work home on weekends, or
requesting constructive criticism from qualified colleagues,
dedicated employees do what it takes to get the job done right.
8:Results:

• The study also established the level of commitment for public

secondary school teachers to their working stations. This was
assessed using an eighteen item commitment scale developed by
Meyer and Allen (1997). General commitment was measured with a
mean score of between 18 and 90.
• We can conclude, there are many significant benefits of
positive student-teacher relationships. When students feel a
sense of classroom pride and teachers are able to effectively
communicate with their class, engagement occurs.
