face of the earth.
Earth, alongside different planets, is
accepted to have been conceived 4.5
billion years prior as a cemented dust
storm and gases left over from the
production of the Sun. For maybe 500
million years, the inside of Earth
remained strong and moderately cool,
maybe 2,000F.
Approximately 4 1/2 billion years ago,
Earth was created from debris
orbiting our solar. That is also the
sun's precise age, but it is not the
start of our story. The story begins
about 14 billion years ago with the
Big Bang, which scattered hydrogen
atoms throughout the universe.
According to the research findings,
the major components were iron and
silicates, with comparatively tiny
amounts of other elements, some of
which were radioactive. Over long
periods of time, the energy released
by radioactive decay mostly of
uranium, thorium, and potassium
gradually heated Earth, dissolving
much of its components.
The iron melted first, and
because it was heavier, it sunk to
the center. This pushed up the
silicates it had discovered. The
iron eventually reached the
center, over 4,000 miles
underground, and began to
deposit after many years.
There were no eyes around to see the
chaos that must have erupted on the
face of the Earth at the time. On the
surface, there are massive heaves and
bubblings, bursting volcanoes, and
pouring lava engulfing everything in
sight.
Depressions in the crust were
natural basins in which water, rising
from the interior of the planet
through volcanoes and fissures,
collected to form the oceans.
Slowly, Earth acquired its present
appearance.
