INTRODUCTION

 In our country Agriculture is major source of food production to the

growing demand of human population.
 In agriculture, irrigation is an essential process that influences crop
production.
 It is defined as a system that distributes water to targeted area for the
purpose of increasing crop production, greenhouse and for another
activities.
Cont…

• The increasing energy demand, drawback of existing source pushed

researchers to explore new technologies.
• Solar energy is the world’s oldest primary energy source.
• It is a safe, renewable energy source that can be found in abundance
all over the world. It is possible to transform solar energy into
mechanical energy or electricity with sufficient efficiency using solar
energy.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

Farmers play a crucial role in our economic development.

 However, their work is restricted due to the season change hence, the

consequence is lack of rain.

They can produce their crops two or three times in a year if the rain available as

they want. But it will not happen as they expect.

Lack of electric energy

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Using renewable energy, solar power in this case, is good for environment

The study will assist farmers to increase their production to change their life

In the area rainfall is available from June to September. So it is very necessary to

irrigation for farm field during the rest of the eight months.
OBJECTIVES

Note…

• Numerous studies have suggested that climate variability and climate

change can have adverse impacts on global food production and food
security. Climate variability driven by major interannual-scale climate
modes has been playing a key role by often leading to droughts and
decrease in crop yields that could further result in famine in some
food insecure regions
