PLACE VALUE AND EXPANDED FORM

• Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Breathe in and
breathe out. Now imagine a 3-digit number i.e 231 and think
about the place of each digit .
• Slowly slowly open your eyes and tell me where you place
the digits.
• 2 at Hundred’s place, 3 at Ten’s place , 1 at One’s place.
• So, by this we learnt the places of digits.
• In the next session we will learn about the places of digits
using ‘abacus’.
