1. THE LAW OF EXPONENTIAL CHANGE

- this law states that “the time rate of change of the quality Q at any time (t) is
proportional to Q”.

- 2 Process are:
❖ EXPONENTIAL GROWTH
- the number of lives increase at a rate of proportional to the
number of present.
- k>0, Q increases (growth)

❖ EXPONENTIAL DECAY
- a substance decompose at a rate proportional to its amount
at any instant.
- k<0, Q decreases (decay)
