• Teacher then segments the sounds based on the syllable verbally
according to each letter one by one. (e.g. /p/ /e/ /n/) and asks the pupils
to follow

The wheel will contain pictures of classroom objects

When the indicator lands on a picture on the wheel the first group to
stand up and say what the object is correctly will be selected

A representative will choose the correct word card and stick it in a

designated space on the white board

The next group will be asked what colour the item is and the same
procedure is repeated till all the groups are done
