 What Is A
Short Story?

- A short story is a fictional

prose narrative that is shorter
than a novel in length and
usually features only a few
characters. It has a limited
scope and a three-part
structure: an introduction, a
body and a conclusion.
 - My short story is based on a young man
who falls in love with a shattered girl
who he thought was too young to
understand the brutal world, but later
comes to realize he was wrong.

heartfelt feeling for her due to what she’s
been through with her ex.
- Eventually they meet again at a restaurant

to ignore it and move on. Things start to
improve and she even meets his parents.
- One Sunday evening as they having dinner
he ask’s for her phone to look at some recent
