ZOOM MEETING

DECORUM
1. All meeting is governed by the following act:
a. Republic Act No. 10627 or the "Anti-Bullying
Act of 2013"
b. House Bill 5718, or the “Anti Cyber-Bullying
Act of 2015”
c. Republic Act 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012
2. Meeting in Zoom is considered as a private session if you
have companions (parents, guardians) there that have
questions or concerns please advise them to send a private
message and not directly disturb the sessions while the class
is on-going. Inform all members of the household that you
will be joining a video conference and that they can be seen
(if the camera is on) and heard (if the mic is on) to avoid
distractions as well as unnecessary noise background.
3. To ensure that the meeting is a virtual
classroom discussion students are encouraged to
wear White T-shirt/ White Polo shirt to maintain
the vibe and feel of the school environment.
4. Maintain a permanent study place during the
online class. Avoid moving from one place to
another at the start of the class.
5. Be online and ahead of time for Video
Conference meeting / class.
6. Submit all learning tasks.
7. Eating is not allowed during class.
8. Proper grooming will be done before
joining the class.
9. Maintain your camera on from the
beginning until the class ends otherwise you
be marked as absent.
10. English is the language to be used for
group chats and classes for the English
subject.
11. Check email, google classroom &
messenger every day for updates and
information.
12. Communicate immediately with the
teacher via email, messenger and other
platforms for communication if a student
misses a meeting or lesson.
13. As a sign of respect and to reduce noise turn
microphone on only when asked to speak or when
responding to questions. Be aware of the audio and
video settings look into the camera when talking
instead of looking at yourself
14. Keep online chat focused on the learning. Ensure
chat content is respectful and informative.
15. Complete all online and offline learning tasks
assigned by the teacher.
16. If there are technical issues, inform the teacher
immediately and find out what was missed during the
lesson.
17. Single task should be focused during online
lessons. Don’t be involved in chatting, gaming or
checking social media while trying to do your
schoolwork.
18. Contribute to online discussions, offer
support and assistance to peers.
19. Filming, recording or sharing content, taking
screenshots or record staff members, teachers
presenting information to you are not allowed.
