 PREFACE
Dear faculty members of community medicine,
We have prepared a ‘CD’ on community medicine classes which can generate
enthusiasm in the subject amongst students. We hope that this ‘CD’ with its vast
coverage of information will continue to fill the educational needs of the students
in our country.
This ‘CD’ is not a substitute to standard text books but a good supplement to
bring in the readiness of the teacher. We hope to save the time of faculty in
cumbersome slide preparation which can be utilized in lesson planning .
We thank all the students & faculty of community medicine of Gandhi Medical
College, who have taken many pains to organize the presentations into logical &
uniform approaches, thereby, facilitating readability, comprehension & learning.
We hope that we have succeeded in bringing to the student the excitement of the
subject & the desire to learn more than what can be offered by any text book.
