FOULS
• PUSHING FOUL- occurs when a
defender pushes an offensive player
or bumps into the body of an
offensive player.
• HOLDING FOUL- when a player
grabs or holds his opponent in a way
that stops him from moving freely on
the court.
• DOUBLE FOUL- Two fouls
committed at the same time by
opposing players against each other. 
• BLOCKING FOUL- when one player
uses their body to prevent the
movement of another player. 
• HACKING FOUL- Refers to
a foul where a player is struck on the
arm while shooting.
• OFFENSIVE FOUL- a type of
personal foul that offensive players
commit when their team possesses the
ball.
• TECHNICAL FOUL- is the only type of
foul that does not come from explicit
contact of opposing player during the
game.
• FLAGRANT FOUL-  is a personal foul
that involves excessive or violent contact
that could injure the fouled player.
