 Yours is black. Possessive pronoun (PP)
We never use a noun after a PP.

 Yes, it is mine.
 My phone is dead. Pass me yours.
 The house on the corner is theirs.
Examples:
 I have a bag - this is my bag. This is mine.
 You have a cat - that is your cat. that cat is yours.
 He has a car - it is his car. it is his.
 She has a book - it is her book. it is hers.
 The dog has a bed - it is its bed.
 We have a flat - it is our flat. it is ours.
 They have a daughter - she is their daughter. she
is theirs.
