ERP Domain: Corporate Governance & Quality
[Under Construction
• This Domain is slightly difficult to get a grip on. The overall business
requirements for quality span a variety of processes:
1. Management of QA Procedures, i.e., Applications such as QMS, Qualiware
2. Corporate Governance and Compliance
3. Management of Planning of Inspectors
4. Management of Planned Quality Data Collection and Inspections During
Procurement and Manufacturing
5. Management of Incidents
• The current approach is to:
– Consider 1) Out of Scope from an ERP Perspective
– Consider 2) A Candidate for an ERP Component
– Consider 3) As Part of the Project Management (Planning) Process
– Consider 4) Part of ERP
– Consider 5) Part of ERP – Here it would make sense to use the same tool during and
post execution so that all incidents would be dealt with from within the same tool.
